The disk may be there but not activated yet. If you have SATA connections on your motherboard Sata is the first gen of sata drives I didn’t make any partitions and just formatted the whole gb.
Also, i don’t know exactly where the driver would be in the device manager, but i searched and didn’t recognize it there. Driver installation wasn’t on the cd menu and the floppy with the drivers would just say that the disc wasn’t formatted when i accessed it. And it ran fine. Use the “C” partition to install your OS.
