If possible try using a different USB 3 socket from a different row as that will be on a separate controller.

Are both your USB 3 sockets you use side by side?

DK2 HDMI unplugged issues. the hopes and maybe the cure!!

I had been using it with the optional power supply as other forums had mentioned this helped, in my case it didn’t. Just wanna rep usn Not saying that is your problem but if this happens at times of more intense gameplay then it might be worth looking into.

Cables, different usb ports, etc with no avail.

Also as your pc is new you may also have a spare usb 3 socket on your motherboard that can be utilised with an adapter. Oculus say the issue is i need to buy a CV1 to fix the issue but I’m not really up for that seeing as how some users are reporting the same issue in the CV1.

I’ve been using di2 over a year with no hmd disconnections EVER. Originally Posted by BigF Source. It can be after 5 mintues of playin and it can be any game not just ED or it may be fine for 2 hours straight.

I’ve posted this as a bit of possible help for me and other users that may be getting this issue. If that doesn’t work a roll back of Oculus drivers etc to the one that worked better.

Since I installed the inatek card and using oculus tray tool I havent had a single oculus hmd disconnect! If they are then you maybe overloading the USB 3 controller. Thread Tools Show Printable Version. I’v tried everything too. Its still connected up and since the d2k swap I have not had any drops. The fix restart ED and carry on great until ussb have to join back up with the wing players or crew you had before.

Seemingly random these generally pop up during docking and or fighting, basically at any time you’d rather they didnt. This causes the game to become unresponsive, oddly before the recent Oculus update I was still able to fly us the monitor screen with the rift balanced on my head, now this does not work. Conclusion ASPM settings aside it may be purely down to having a dedicated USB3 card with a molex power connector to supply more juice than the standard ports are allocated.

A bit of back ground, I’ve had a DK2 since before the CV1 was a thing, worked fine and had no issues etc ever even when I was messing with dev stuff. I post here the details later on the ASPM of my board in case its relevant. I put the whole thing down to me moving my head too much but it will even disconnect while sat on the desk not moving. Sometimes called different things etc, but you get the gist. My initial thoughts were the HDMI socket is loose or the cable is coming out etc as seems to be the ek2 for a lot of users getting this error.
