Is yours an LED screen? I think you might mean Ideapad? The chipset information is listed below, but I cannot tell conclusively that the firewire is not using Ricoh, which I have read on a few forums. I really wish they would state this in their specs!!
Windows 7 was a bit meh for me. The problem with creating a list of computers is that they are constantly changing hardware in them.
The forum moderator has a Lenovo running a TI express card with no problems. Although this issue has been known for a while, there appears no solution other than disabling the card reader, which I sometimes use.

Hi guys- Are there any Lenovo ThinkPad owners t and up that have managed to get the Firebox or a FW interface working with no issues? Rixoh purchased an E last September, and it has been flawless.
I notice that a few people here have the ThinkPad in their forum signatures.
It is a slighly lower version number than before: The T can handle this automatically if correctly instructed. On Microsoft Windows you can switch between these two cards, depending on the performance needed. And thanks for replying here to my post.

I think neither of those is better than the alternative, which is to disable the device driver when not needed. I checked out the tech specs on Lenovo’s site and I have a couple questions for you or anyone else reading this. This is apparently behavior desired in Windows. WiFi Several wireless cards are available, including: It won’t lnovo on non Sony machines by default so you have to use UniExtract to get the files out.
I have the setups listed there and I have to say they work flawlessly.
