After a few hours of playing with settings and uninstalling other software, I switched out the USB cable that was included for one of my own and it worked like a charm. The software driver freezes up memor-esae the quality of the image capture is very poor.
The only drawback I can think of is that this is not a high volume unit. The film holders should be more clearly marked as to the top and bottom, front and rear. I was amazed how fast 4 slides were scanned in the slide holder. Be the first to review this item. Use something else if you need high resolution scans of 35mm work.
